John Siergiej has over 30 years of experience in the computer industry. John's work goes back to the Internet boom era when everyone wanted a network and to experience the world wide web for the first time. Over time, John has developed a diverse tool-chest of knowledge in computer systems and support. He learned early on that supporting a client's needs should come before development. John's philosophy falls easily in-line with the CompTIA ITF+ and CompTIA A+ certifications.
John holds a master's degree in cyber forensics and security from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and also a bachelor's degree and master's degree from Lewis University in Romeoville. He strongly believes you should not teach a certification unless you also hold it, and so John also has CompTIA ITF+, CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications. Additionally, John still remembers the basics of DOS, how to flip switches and install jumpers.
