About Professor John Siergiej
John Siergiej

“You can't get better than KCC's official CompTIA training using materials straight from the creators of the exams. Sure, you can try one of the many discounted training products out there on the market today, but with official CompTIA training materials including CertMaster Learn & Labs, and CertMaster Practice, you know what you're getting and from whom.” — John Siergiej

John Siergiej has over 30 years of experience in the computer industry. John's work goes back to the Internet boom era when everyone wanted a network and to experience the world wide web for the first time. Over time, John has developed a diverse tool-chest of knowledge in computer systems and support. He learned early on that supporting a client's needs should come before development. John's philosophy falls easily in-line with the CompTIA ITF+ and CompTIA A+ certifications.

John holds a master's degree in cyber forensics and security from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and also a bachelor's degree and master's degree from Lewis University in Romeoville. He strongly believes you should not teach a certification unless you also hold it, and so John also has CompTIA ITF+, CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications. Additionally, John still remembers the basics of DOS, how to flip switches and install jumpers.
